CSZ, A Gentherm Company

Radiator Durability Testing Services

CSZ’s radiator tester helps determine the durability of a radiator by thermal cycling fluid through the part. This critical test helps ensure reliability of the product in its operating environment and also help expose weaknesses in the product such as cracking and weak welded joints.

Fluid is induced at specific pressures, flow rates and temperatures offering a wide range of temperature differentials for air & liquid. Temperature cycling is performed by pumping hot and cool fluid through the radiator. Fluid is also cycled through the radiators at various pressures.

After a unit is conditioned, it may be leak tested for integrity. Testing complies with SAE J1542 and other customer-requested tests.

  • Hot Chamber Range: +150°F to +212°F
  • Cold Chamber Range: +50°F to +85°F
