CSZ Testing Has New Capabilities
CSZ is installing a new Altitude Test Chamber in our Ohio Lab. The new chamber is the first chamber to be installed in CSZ Testing Laboratory capable of simulating Altitude, Temperature and Humidity simultaneously. The 32 cu. ft. chamber can simulate Altitude environments of -5,000 to +100,000 feet, temperatures of -65C to +190C and a humidity range of 10% to 95% RH. This CSZ Altitude Chamber is also equipped with the power of the EZT-570i 7” Touch Screen Controller, which offers a full-range of user friendly features to simplify programming. CSZ now offers HALT & HASS Testing Services
to help shorten new product development time, decrease warranty costs and significantly improve product reliability. CSZ’s HALT & HASS chambers incorporate extreme temperature change rates & random, multi-axis vibration with 6 degrees of freedom to rapidly uncover design and/or process weaknesses.
HALT techniques are important in uncovering many of the weak links inherent to the design and fabrication process of a new product. HASS techniques are incorporated during the production phase to find manufacturing process defects that could cause product failures in the field.
CSZ receives Lab approval from DLA for Mil-Std Testing and EIA 364
CSZ has received laboratory suitability status approval
from the Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Supply Center in Columbus, OH for multiple test methods. CSZ is deemed suitable to perform the following tests Fluid Immersion, Humidity and Temperature Cycling Testing along with Vibration, Shock, DWV at Sea Level, DWV at Altitude, and Salt Spray Corrosion Testing for products supplied to the Department of Defense.
